On Friday, Feb. 28, former Allen Park High School standout Avery Garden’s current college team, the Northwestern Wildcats, lost 4-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Central Michigan Chippewas.

The game took place at Ulmer Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Chippewas this season.

The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 5:30 p.m. at Ulmer Stadium against Louisville Cardinals.
