City of Lincoln Park launches redesigned website with new personalization features

The City of Lincoln Park has announced a redesign of its official website, now operating on the CivicPlus platform. The update aims to help residents stay informed, connected, and engaged with their community.

The redesigned site introduces new features such as MyAccount, which allows visitors to personalize their experience. Users can create an account or log in using their Facebook profile by clicking “Website Sign In” on the MyAccount bar at the top of the screen. This feature enables streamlined access to managing Notify Me subscriptions, completing forms, submitting requests, and other personalized options.

Residents are encouraged to subscribe to Notify Me to receive updates and information about community news and events. According to the city’s announcement: “Subscribe to Notify Me to receive updates and information about community news and happenings. Notify Me allows you to subscribe to an unlimited number of email lists. Choose to receive updates by email or text message based on your preferences. With the MyAccount feature, you can customize your viewing experience, sign up for notifications, and stay engaged with the information you care about.”

The city states that these changes are intended to improve communication between local government and citizens.
