On Thursday, March 6, former Huron High School standout Erin Newman’s current college team, the Grand Valley State Lakers, lost 8-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Tiffin Dragons.

The game took place at Legends Way Ballfields. This was their first matchup against the Dragons this season.

The Lakers’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, March 6 at 3:15 p.m. at Legends Way Ballfields against St. Cloud State Huskies.
