On Friday, March 21, former Oscar A. Carlson High School standout Halie Furkas’ current college team, the Akron Zips, lost 16-15 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Central Michigan Chippewas.

The game took place at Margo Jonker Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Chippewas this season.

The Zips’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 4:30 p.m. at Margo Jonker Stadium against Central Michigan Chippewas.
