On Monday, March 3, former Huron High School standout Erin Newman’s current college team, the Grand Valley State Lakers, lost 5-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the SNHU Penmen.

The game took place at Legends Way Ballfields. This was their first matchup against the Penmen this season.

The Lakers’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 5 at 10 a.m. at Legends Way Ballfields against Edinboro Fighting Scots.
