On Sunday, March 9, former Huron High School standout Marissa Jackson’s current college team, the Valparaiso Beacons, lost 5-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Marshall Thundering Herd.

The game took place at Dot Hicks Field. This was their second matchup against the Thundering Herd this season.

The Beacons’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at 1 p.m. at Frank Ignatius Grein Softball Field against Northern Kentucky Norse.
