On Friday, March 28, former Oscar A. Carlson High School standout Halie Furkas’ current college team, the Akron Zips, lost 8-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Toledo Rockets.

The game took place at Scott Park Baseball Softball. This was their first matchup against the Rockets this season.

The Zips’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 1 p.m. at Scott Park Baseball Softball against Toledo Rockets.
