On Saturday, March 1, former Huron High School standout Erin Newman’s current college team, the Grand Valley State Lakers, won 1-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Franklin Pierce Ravens.

The game took place at Legends Way Ballfields. This was their first matchup against the Ravens this season.

The Lakers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 12:30 p.m. at Legends Way Ballfields against Western Oregon Wolves.
