City of Lincoln Park issued the following announcement on Dec. 23
The role of the City of Lincoln Park City Manager is critical to implementing City policies, overseeing the daily activities of the City, and implementing the ordinances and plans of the community. The Lincoln Park Mayor and Council have finalized the remaining steps in the recruitment process and identified candidates who have been invited for public interviews. These candidates are:
Zachary Boguslawski Project Manager, Apollo America Auburn Hills, MI (present); Lt Commander, U.S. Navy (2016)
Karen Folks County Administrator, Cass County, MI (2019); City Administrator, Allen Park, MI (2015)
James Krizan Assistant to the City Manager, Royal Oak, MI (present); Village Manager, Decatur, MI (2016)
Thomas Thomas City Manager, Unalaska, AL (2019); City Manager, Rock Island, IL (2015)
The Mayor and Council have planned several meetings for January 13, 2020 to provide the public and City personnel an opportunity to meet the candidates.
A “Meet the Candidates” event has been scheduled for 5:00 p.m. at the Lincoln Park Public Library, Program Room, 1381 Southfield Road, Lincoln Park, MI 48146. The event is open to the public and community members are encouraged to attend. Comment cards will be available to the public, if they would like to provide feedback to the Mayor and Council.
The Mayor and Council will start the formal candidate interviews at 6:00 p.m. in the City of Lincoln Park Council Chambers, 1355 Southfield Road, Lincoln Park, MI 48146. The interviews are open to the public and community members are welcome to attend.
