Wayne County Community College District issued the following announcement on Jan. 8
The USAF Band of Mid-America, “Shades of Blue,” will perform at WCCCD’s Heinz C. Prechter Educational and Performing Arts Center (EPAC) at the Downriver Campus in Taylor on January 19, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. Shades of Blue is a 15-piece big band jazz ensemble whose music connects communities with military service members, and honors our country’s veterans. Featuring instrumental and vocal soloists, as well as original compositions, the band mixes contemporary jazz composers with the classic sounds of Count Basie or Major Glenn Miller.
