MICHIGAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: House Passes Coronavirus Package

Michigan Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on March 27

The U.S. House passed the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act — or CARES Act.  This $2.2 trillion stimulus package is aimed at helping the people, states and businesses nationwide devastated by the coronavirus pandemic.  An analysis of the bill, as passed by the US Senate, can be found here.

The Michigan Chamber is continuing to analyze the final version of the legislation and will send that out as soon as possible.   Please be sure to check the Michigan Chamber’s toolkit for information on the CARES Act as more details become available.
