SOUTHERN WAYNE COUNTY REGIONAL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: Extending the “Safer at Home” Executive Order 2020-96 until June 12, 2020

Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on May 23.

UPDATE AS OF MAY 22, 2020: Governor Whitmer signed Executive Order 2020-100, extending the “Safer at Home” Executive Order 2020-96 until June 12, 2020. Under this executive order, retail and auto dealerships can partially reopen by appointment statewide May 26, along with nonessential medical and veterinary services May 29. Further, the order allows the limited reopening of retail and eatery dine-in services in “Up North” MERC regions 6 & 8. EO 2020-100 further extends the deadline for several other orders as detailed, and the State of Emergency is extended through June 19, 2020 under Executive Order 2020-99.
