Henry Ford Health System issued the following announcement on June 26.
Henry Ford Health System has been named the official healthcare provider for The Rocket Mortgage Classic PGA TOUR golf tournament to be held July 2-5 at the Detroit Golf Club.
Staff from orthopedics and sports medicine will service all of the tournament’s medical needs at stations located on the tournament grounds. The announcement marks Henry Ford’s first year as an “official partner” for the event.
The second annual PGA TOUR stop will feature 156 of the top players competing for a purse of $7.5 million and will be aired on Golf Channel, CBS and PGA TOUR Radio on SiriusXM, and live-streamed online via PGA TOUR Live.
Henry Ford is also the official healthcare provider for the Detroit Lions, Detroit Pistons and Detroit Free Press/TCF Bank Marathon.
