Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Sept.5.
The Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber will be distributing hundreds of FREE PPE packets beginning after Labor Day for Downriver's business community. The bags will include face coverings, sanitizer, and gloves FREE of charge for Downriver entrepreneurs and job providers. The distribution is being done in partnership with Wayne County, and will provide critical items to help keep our employers, workforce and their patrons safe during these uncertain times. The SWCRC will be announcing the distribution process and how you can obtain a bag of PPE equipment as a Downriver business. The distribution site will be located at the SWCRC office on Northline in Taylor. Supplies are limited, so watch for more information on how to obtain a complimentary bag of PPE items coming out next week following the Labor Day holiday! #SupportDownriver
