Downriver for Veterans issued the following announcement on Nov. 20.
Good afternoon, UPDATE: I have finished the list for Kinghaven Residents.
We will be adopting all residents so I will private message you Sunday with either Senior or name of Veteran.
For you that do not know were Kinghaven is here is the address 14800 King Rd. Riverview.
What we would like if you can meet us there and we do Christmas Caroles outside for the residents.
With the virus we can not go into building. We will place all gifts at the door and management will pass them out.
Here is some ideas for unisex gifts limit to $10.00. Books, puzzle books lap blanket, regular puzzles, slipper socks or what ever you feel to keep mind and hands busy.
I will get you the date to meet in the next week. If you can not make it to Kinghaven let me know and we can make arrangements for you to drop them off .
