Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Dec. 11.
We recently heard from 2 amazing Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber members who received the SBAM weatherization grant to provide funding for necessary infrastructure updates to their business. We want to share these amazing emails we received at the SWCRC from these 2 awesome Downriver business owners. It means the world to our team!!!
1) Just a quick note to thank you for sharing the information about the SBAM weatherization grant - we're being awarded over $1000 to pay for the equipment...! I appreciate the work you're doing to get these resources and opportunities to us - it makes a difference, and saves me a lot of time!
2) Our business was awarded $10,000 for the Weatherization Grant. My primary focus will be upgrading to increase capacity for carry out and delivery. I want as much of this grant money as possible to be spent at SWCRC members’ businesses....I found out about this grant from you, due to your amazing leadership!!! I cannot thank you enough for all that you do for chamber members and local small businesses. YOU ROCK!!!
So cool that these funds are not only helping our members, but are being spent at SWCRC member businesses!!!! THESE EMAILS ARE AWESOME!!! We love our members and Downriver business community! Serving them is our greatest honor. #SupportDownriver
