City of Allen Park issued the following announcement on Aug 5.
We would like to thank everyone for showing up last night.
Thanks to the United States Border Patrol, Michigan State Police, Downriver SWAT, APFD.
We appreciate all the help we received from the volunteers from the city hall, not possible without you.
Our records staff, Chiefs Admin assistant and City Treasurer kept the tickets and giveaways flowing all evening.
Thanks to Judge Page and the City Council members Charles Blevins and Matt Valerius for getting in the dunk tank.
AP DPS and Parks and Rec, thanks for all the help with tables, gates etc.
We guess about 400 plus people attended last night.
We hope you enjoyed the food truck selection and Kona Ice.
