City of Wyandotte issued the following announcement on Aug 17.
We have received some calls regarding a flyer that states a bottle drive is "city council approved" and they are collecting for a third party.
Please be aware that this drive did not receive council approval, however, it is not required for organizations to seek approval to pass out flyers or register to conduct a bottle drive.
Please refer to the "Giving Wisely To Charity" information that is put out by Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel.
