Ecorse Public Schools recently issued the following announcement.
We were thrilled to celebrate the grand opening of Ecorse Public Schools new Automotive Program. Thanks to community partners like LaFontaine Automotive Group and General Motors, Ecorse is expanding their Career and Technical Education programs, which is critically needed to help with the worker shortage.
The new automotive program has been a priority for members of the board for years, and, through their partnership with GM and LaFontaine, will help students graduate as certified mechanics from high school.
We're excited to see this program succeed and create a brighter future for Downriver!
