NON-HOMESTEAD MILLAGE RENEWAL
“Allen Park Public Schools Operating Millage RENEWAL Proposal”
- This proposal is a RENEWAL of the district's Non-Homestead Millage, which allows the school district to continue to levy the statutory rate of 18 mills on all non-homestead property.
- Non-Homestead Property: Rental homes, commercial and business properties only.
- The Non-Homestead Millage has ZERO impact on residential property taxes. Principal residences are exempt from this levy.
- Please cast an informed vote - see attachments for additional information and ballot language. Remember… every vote counts!
