City of Trenton issued the following announcement on Oct 25.
THANK YOU TRENTON! You have really gone all out this year for Halloween around town with the numerous homes and businesses that have gotten into the Halloween spirit. We have streets covered in pumpkins, ghosts, skeletons and all other forms of Halloween trickery. Its a testament to our sense of community to see such a strong effort being put forth by our neighbors and ourselves. Also, Trenton made the news again for the second year in a row for the Pumpkin Lane that the neighbors have bonded together to create on Boxford near Anderson Elementary which sparked theme streets across the city.
We are so proud of our community we are asking you to send us your pictures of your yard, a neighbors yard or a business in town you think has set the bar pretty high for decorating for the season. We will be adding ones that are formatted as wider than tall to the banners on the site when appropriate, so keep in mind to take the photo on the horizontal side of your camera/phone so that it will be wide enough to be considered. Also, we will be creating a gallery of all appropriate images sent and once we start receiving photos we will link to it from this article.
Keep in mind, we are planning on creating another announcement just like this for fall decorations once Halloween is over. So if you weren't able to get it out for the tricky day or opted to go with a fall theme over a Halloween them please check back for the fall decor submissions form and gallery we will be creating.
