City of Gibraltar Master Plan Update Survey

Survey(1000)

City of Gibraltar issued the following announcement on Dec 13.

Please help the City of Gibraltar plan for the future. Take an online survey today. Information collected will help guide the development of the City’s Master Plan. It will only take a few minutes, and your answers are anonymous.

Communities must know what they want to become so that they can chart a path to get there. Master Plans are the tool that helps guide community leaders in achieving their long-term land use vision. Help the City chart that vision. Please participate in the Gibraltar’s Master Plan survey.

The City of Gibraltar is updating its 2002 land use master plan, and we need your help to guide the City’s future development. Land use plans look 15-20 years into the future, and this plan will serve as a guide to City officials and developers on land use decisions and capital projects. To make the plan reflect the City, we need to know what the residents find special about the community so that we can protect and enhance those special things while identifying where improvements are needed.

Public input is vital to successful master plans. Without it, these documents will fail and “sit on a shelf”. The Master Plan Steering Committee needs your input to know what the public likes/doesn’t like to help set the goals and objectives that will guide the City’s development over the next two decades.

Please complete the Community Survey that is available online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/GibraltarMasterPlanSurvey.

The survey will be available through Tuesday January 4, 2022. It should take less than ten minutes to complete. Your survey answers will help to develop the plan that guide the City’s development for the next generation.  All responses are anonymous!
