Allen Park Police Department recently issued the following announcement.

It’s been a few, so let’s ease on into the chaos known as life.

Painting anything is kind of a bummer. Buying paint is not fun either. It appears this individual found a way to make part of the painting experience less financially impactful*

He selects three cans of paint and pays for them, $472 bucks. Ok , so far so good. He exits the store and puts said paint into his vehicle. He waits a few moments, then walks back into the store and selects three more cans of paint?!

The “shopper” then takes those cans to the service desk. He then uses the receipt from earlier to get a refund for the cans he did not purchase!

He was identified and will have a meeting with a Judge soon.

*Well, as of now he has a court date, thus costing more money and stuff.

Hey people, when that “soulmate” tells you its over, grasp that it is in fact done.

Calling 30 times a day and texting etc. , will not get you the result you hope… Trust us.

Christmas shopping ?

This individual selects a TV from a local store and decides to not pay for it.

The individual is confronted by store staff as he is trying to leave the store with a 70 Inch TV. He punches a store team member in the face. The call comes out and as luck would have it, one of our officers was in the area.  Like a TicTok video, he hears the call and observes the suspect running past his patrol vehicle.

He was taken into custody. During the event , Ofc Curtis was head-butted by the “shopper”.

During the booking of the “shopper”, he decided the only way to advise us he had to use the restroom was to expose his genitals. We think words might have been better.

His shopping experience resulted in the following charges.

Charge 1- Robbery- Unarmed

Charge 2 Assault on a Police Officer

Charge 3 Indecent Exposure.
