Mrs. DINGELL. Madam Speaker, I rise today to recognize Mrs. Susan Dabaja on the occasion of her retirement from the position of President of the City Council of Dearborn, Michigan, where she has honorably served for eight years. Her significant contributions to our community are worthy of commendation.

She was a strong proponent of many successful initiatives, including the Dearborn Multi-Modal Transportation Plan. Mrs. Dabaja made public safety a top priority and was a strong supporter of the city's police and fire departments.
