Budget review sessions begin on April 4

City of Taylor issued the following announcement on Apr 1.

Budget Reviews for the 2022-23 fiscal year in the City of Taylor will begin on Monday, April 4. City Council will meet with departments on April 4, 7 and 13 before approving a new budget during its regular meeting on April 19.

Note that the review sessions begin at 6 p.m.

All meetings will be cablecast live on Comcast and Wow.

The following schedule has been revised from others previously published:

Monday, April 4

6–6:30 p.m. – Budget & Finance- Revenue Overview

6:30–6:45 p.m. – Clerk’s Office

6:45–7 p.m.  – Assessor’s Office

7–8 p.m. – Parks & Recreation, Senior Center & Building & Grounds

8–8:15 p.m. – Human Resources

8:15–9 p.m.—Fire Department

Thursday, April 7

6–6:15 p.m. – Planning Department

6:15–6:30 p.m. – Treasurer’s Office

6:30–7 p.m. – Building Department

7-7:45 p.m. – District Court

7:45–8 p.m. – Library

8– 9:15 p.m.—DPW /Water & Sewer/ Roads / Vehicle Maintenance / Animal Shelter /Ordinance

Wednesday, April 13

6–6:15 p.m. – Customer Service Center

6:15–6:30 p.m. – Informational Technology

6:30 –7:15 p.m. – Police Department

7:15–8 p.m. – Economic Development, Sportsplex, Golf

8–8:30 p.m. – Mayor’s Office
