Your Romulus Police would like to give a huge “thank you” to everyone who supported our first Shop with a Cop fundraiser; from those who donated gifts to be raffled, to those who purchased a ticket to the game! Because of your generosity, we were able to raise $1200 for some well deserving children this Christmas.
The first responders gave a valiant effort but lost (44-48) to a worthy opponent, (editor’s note – the sun was in our eyes, we were tired, the officials favored Royalty Empowerment, and we wanted to make sure they would come back next year). Despite all of that, it was an awesome opportunity for us to g̵e̵t̵ b̵e̵a̵t̵ meet some great young people, laugh, and play some intense basketball. We look forward to playing them again in the future.
