This Monday July 18th, beginning at 2pm at Sweet Treats Station in Woodhaven (20022 Vreeland Rd.). There will be a fundraiser for Detroit Police Officer Loren Courts who was killed in the line of duty July 6th. Donations are already being accepted at the location. Please stop up and have some delicious ice cream and donate to this officers family. Ofc Courts was married and had two children.
Dawn Lancaster the owner of Sweet Treats Station reached out to Jeep riders who often gather at the shop to participate in a fundraiser for his family beginning at 2 p.m. July 18. The fundraiser will go until 8pm at which time they will have a police escort to the freeway to deliver the funds to the Detroit Police Department 2nd Precinct.
