Shumate Prep Day
Date: August 29, 2022
Time: 12-6 pm
At this event, students will have their first opportunity to:
Receive their schedule - Schedules will also be available online through Parent Connect the same day
Receive their Student ID
Have their school pictures taken - An online order code will be sent in early August. There will be an alternate date for students that were unable to attend Prep Day
Receive their Chromebook - Chromebooks will be available on the first day of school for students that were not able to attend Prep Day
Order SMS Spiritwear
Receive guided tours of the building with our First Mates
We will have food trucks in the bus loop, and other fun activities around the school. Here’s the schedule for Prep Day:
Incoming 6th Graders: 12-1:30
Incoming 7th Graders: 1:30-3:00
Incoming 8th Graders: 3:00-4:30
Any students/parents that can’t attend their time slot: 4:30-6:00
