The Great Lakes Way, incl. Dr. John Hartig and the Community Foundation as collaborators and the city of Trenton as a client partner, is working with the University of Michigan's Taubman School of Architecture and Urban Planning to study the City of Trenton's waterfront development. Due to our city's complex history regarding the waterfront and its critical role in the development of its goals to "strengthen the connection of the city with the Detroit River," Trenton is a perfect location for graduate students to study and prepare recommendations for how we can best transition and utilize the "Waterfront Revitalization" zoning. The UM students have created a survey to gather insight from the diverse community visions and experiences and would like to hear from you. Please click on survey below to participate, and feel free to share.
