The Wayne County Roads Division has informed the City that they will be resurfacing the Allen/Ecorse/Roosevelt intersection starting on Thursday (11-10) through next Thursday (11-17). These dates are weather permitting.
During the storm sewer structure repair portion of the project, the outside lanes will be closed in all directions. A flagging operation will be used to direct traffic through the intersection and maintain the flow of traffic. Closure will be kept through the duration of the project of about 4 days.
For the paving portion of the project, traffic will be reduced to one lane for each direction. A flagging operation will be used to direct traffic through the intersection and maintain the flow of traffic. Lane Closures will be kept throughout the duration of the project.
Motorists should drive cautiously in the construction zone.
