I’m Jeff Dobek, the City of Riverview’s new Interim City Manager; and, I oversee the Riverview Land Preserve, which includes operations as well as working with the Downriver community and local residents.
As you may know, the City of Riverview and Riverview Land Preserve has submitted an application for a proposed expansion of the municipal solid waste landfill located at 20863 Grange Rd. to be included in Wayne County’s Solid Waste Management Plan (WCSWMP). The City of Riverview and RLP believe it is important to explore expansion – and all future possibilities – in order to ensure that residents, businesses, and the Downriver communities are supported and continue to benefit from RLP’s position as a regional resource.
