ATTENTION ECORSE RESIDENTS,
We have received calls and information in the Clerk's Office and Police Department that there is a gentleman going around door to door who says he was hired by a P.I. Company to do an audit on who voted absentee.
You ARE NOT obligated to open your door or disclose any information, if you are not comfortable.
If you do choose to open your door, ALWAYS ask for identification and remember, how you voted and who you voted for is your private information.
He is described as a caucasian male, late 30's - early 40's, in a sweatshirt with some type of symbol on it and he's driving a burgundy truck.
