Ellie is a 16-year-old student at Allen Park High School - a star on the swim and tennis teams. She lives with her Mom, Dad, and younger brother Sam. Earlier this year, Ellie and her family received news that no family is ready for…. Ellie was diagnosed with a brain tumor, specifically something called Chondrosarcoma.
Ellie had brain surgery in August, a round of infertility treatments (to keep her eggs viable for the future), several rounds of chemo, and too many doctor appointments to count.
She just got the devastating news that her body is not responding to treatment. Ellie is an incredible kid, with many friends and family in the Allen Park community who are rooting and praying for her.
