Hello MelNAP Families,

On Monday, January 23, the district will be expanding bussing and adding additional routes. The additional routes added are between Outer Drive and Oakwood, as well as Oakwood to South Dearborn. Bus passes are not needed for any riders, but please know that some stops are located in different spots than they have been in the past, so please look at the current bus schedule to ensure you are at the closest, correct, bus stop.

The current bus schedule is on the district website (attached below) and is available at the schools.  It is crucial that students ride the bus in the morning so they can get a stamp with their bus route on it, which will let them know which bus to ride home.

We are still working to add one more driver which will allow us to add more routes. However, we will continue to provide a crossing guard at Allendale to assist students crossing Oakwood. We will also maintain the crossing guard at Oakwood and Allen.

Please know this is a work in progress, and I’m sure we will have some minor challenges as we continue to expand our bussing. Your patience and support throughout this entire process has been appreciated, and we look forward to continuing to work with you for the betterment of our community.
