Meet our newest Officer Kenneth Cowan, who happens to be our police department's first African American Police Officer.
We are happy to have him and in honor of the first day of African American History Month, Officer Cowan wanted to quote the great social reformer, abolitionist, orator, writer, and statesman Fredrick Douglas.
The great Frederick Douglass once said. “I would unite with anybody to do right and with nobody to do wrong.”
We couldn't agree more and encourage diversity which only makes us stronger.
