Ice Storm Cleanup Information

Due to the ice storm, there is an excessive amount of trees and tree limbs down throughout the City of Allen Park.  The Department of Public Services (DPS) is working hard to clean up the damage.  Our first priority is clearing roads and City trees that have fallen onto residential driveways.  After clearing roads and driveways, we will clear debris on the easements from City trees.  This could take up to 2-3 weeks to clean up the entire City based on the amount of damage.  To report a City tree or its branches that have fallen down, call the DPS at 313-928-0550, extension 2.  If the line is busy, you will receive voicemail, so please leave a very detailed message.  You can also report issues on www.SeeClickFix.com under “New Request” for Allen Park, which is also the mobile app “Allen Park Connect”.

NOTE:  If there appears to be a large amount of private property tree debris on the easement that will take time to remove, the DPS will give the homeowner an estimated charge starting at $80.00 in order to proceed.
