State Representative Jamie Thompson, representing the 28th House District, was sworn into office for her second term in the Michigan House of Representatives. The ceremony took place with Assistant Clerk of the House Rich Brown officiating.
Thompson's district includes areas such as Brownstown Township, Flat Rock, Rockwood, Woodhaven, and parts of Taylor in Wayne County. It also covers Berlin Township and Frenchtown Township in Monroe County.
The Michigan House of Representatives commenced its first session day for the 2025-26 legislative term on Wednesday, January 8.
