Winter Break

Az

Romulus Community Schools issued the following announcement on Dec 22.

Dear Romulus Community Schools District Family,

We hope this message finds you well. Since the start of this school year, we have had quite a ride. We have come together and stayed together to serve our students and families amidst a global pandemic, staffing changes in Central Office and in our schools, community happenings, personal triumphs and tragedies, and so much more. Thank you for your commitment to raise the next generation against all odds.

So now that we have come to the Winter Break, take this time to do the following:

  • Reflect: Reflect on your personal and professional activities.
  • Renew: Renew your mind, body, and spirit. Take time to assess your attitude, beliefs, customs, and values that influence our students daily.
  • Restore: Restore productive relationships and meaningful practices that cause you to excel as a professional and fellow citizen.
  • Recommit: Recommit to the cause of teaching, modeling, and shaping the students who our families have placed in our care.
Regardless of what is happening on the outside, it is what happens inside of you that really matters. When the Winter Break ends, we anticipate working and winning with the reflective, renewed, restored, and recommitted you! Lastly, we are on a mission to create an incredible learning environment and experience for high-quality instruction and achievement for every staff member and student each and every day. Partnership is powerful, and we are extremely excited to partner with you for the success of your student. Just know – we’re better together!

Sincerely,

Romulus Community Schools Board of Education & Administrative Cabinet
