We still have a long way to go, but it's important to look back and remember those whose extraordinary efforts paved the way to where we are now.
Martin Luther King Jr's most famous speech, "I Have a Dream" was delivered in front of the Lincoln Memorial. His speech is often misunderstood and misremembered, so in order to avoid mischaracterization we have provided a link to the entire transcript and NPR broadcast. If you have never listened to the speech in its entirety, we strongly recommend setting aside 20 minutes to do so today, on the 59th anniversary of the March on Washington: https://www.npr.org/.../i-have-a-dream-speech-in-its...
Do you or a loved one have memories of marching? If so, we would love to hear about your experiences!
